IBADAN - In a decisive and historic election, members of Omo Ajosun Club, Ibadan, have elected a new executive council to steer the affairs of the club for the next tenure. The election, a run-off to fill vacant positions, which took place on Sunday, 28th April, 2024 at the club's secretariat, saw Chief Sunday Oyekanmi Gbenjo emerging as the new President of the club. Chief Gbenjo, a seasoned administrator and community leader, polled an impressive 71 votes to defeat his opponent, Dr. Robinson Omotajo, who secured 47 votes. The new President, in his acceptance speech, thanked the members for their overwhelming support and pledged to build on the legacy of the late President, Engr.
