JUDICIARY STRIKE: END IN SIGHT AS OSUN STATE GOVERNOR MEETS WITH JUSUN NATIONAL EXECUTIVES

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has again appealed for amicable resolution of the ongoing strike by the state chapter of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN). He hosted a delegation of JUSUN national executives led by the President, Comrade Marwan Adamu, seeking their intervention to end the dispute. Expressing concerns over the disruption of justice administration, Governor Adeleke recounted his previous efforts including paying withheld salaries of some judicial staff and negotiations on wardrobe allowances.  However, he noted that the issues are beyond the executive arm as it is a judicial matter. While assuring his full support, the Governor urged the national leadership of JUSUN to interface with all parties involved to find lasting solutions and restore industrial harmony in the state judiciary.
