EX - KOGI GOV.'S SON DIES AFTER EID PRAYERS IN ABUJA

A former member of the House of Representatives from Kogi State, Hon. Mohammed Idris, is dead. Mohammed, the son of a former Governor of Kogi state, Ibrahim Idris, represented Ankpa, Olamaboro and Omala Federal Constituency at the lower chamber of the National Assembly. Zynga News.com gathered that he slumped and died shortly after observing Eid prayer at his residence in Abuja on Wednesday. He will be buried according to Islamic rites at Gudu cemetery in Abuja.

DELTA STATE GOVERNOR SHERIFF OBOREBWORI FELICITATE BRODERICK BOZIMO AT 85

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has felicitated elder statesman and former Minister of Police Affairs, Alaowei Broderick Bozimo as he clocks 85 years. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa will be sworn in as the substantive Executive Governor of Ondo State any moment from now as prescribed by Section 191 (1) of the 1999 constitution as ammended: (1) The Deputy Governor of a State shall hold the office of Governor of the State if the office of Governor becomes vacant by reason of death, resignation, impeachment, permanent incapacity or removal of the governor from office for any other reason in accordance with section 188 or 189 of this constitution.
