The 2024 edition of BarryFest , a musical festival in honour of the late Fuji exponent, Alhaji (Dr) Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, will begin in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, from today 9th till tomorrow 10th February, 2024. The event is organised by various fans club of the late famous Fuji musician, within and outside the shores of Nigeria. Secretary of the 2024 BarryFest, Asiwaju Ademola Adesingbin, stated this in a press release to announce the event. Among the programmes lined up for the event are; Day 1: 9th February, 2024 Posthumous birthday prayer for the late iconic Fuji musician at Muftau Lanihun Mosque, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Unveiling of a cenotaph in memory of Sikiru Ayinde Barrister at Lagos-Ibadan Express Way. Gala Night at the expansive Ilaji Hotel and Resort, situated at Akanran, Ibadan. Day 2: 10th February, 2024 Premiere of the first episode of a Fuji documentary, titled “Mr Fuji Barry Wonder”, by Saheed Aderinto, a professor of History United States of America
