NBTE GRANTS APPROVAL TO OYSCOHEST TO COMMENCE 5 HND PROGRAMMES

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted approval to the Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan to commence the award of degree in Higher National Diploma (HND) in five (5) of its programmes with effect from 2023/2024 Session. The approval was communicated to the Provost, Mrs Oluyemisi Oyewo via a letter signed by the Director of Monotechnics of the board, Dr Samaila Tanko on behalf of the Executive Secretary.   The approval followed the resources inspection visit carried out by the Board in November,  2023.    Provost, Oyo State College of Health Science and  Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan, Mrs Oluyemisi Oyewo expressed her utmost delight over this development, which she said will boost the status of the College and allow HND graduates from the college participate in the National Youth Service Corps scheme for the first time in the history of the 91 year old institution. NBTE ACCREDITATION TEAM VISIT OYSCOHEST

ACCESS SIX  ACADEMIC  PROGAMMES Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan (OYSCOHEST) has recorded  another academic feat, with the visit of the National Board for Technical Education's Accreditation Team for the Resource Inspection exercise of six of its  academic programmes. The six programmes are HND Dental Nursing, Dental Therapy, Health Information Management, Nutrition and Dietetics, Environmental Health Technology  and National Diploma in Paramedics Technology. Briefing the Management and Staff of the College at the end of the exercise, the NBTE Team Lead, Prince (Dr.) Murtala Aliyu Sakwa commended the Management of the College for the infrastructural development between October, 2022 during their last visit and  November this year,  advising the Management to forge ahead in sustaining the tempo. He said the NBTE Team is impressed with what they met on ground, noting with delight that the College Management is doing well.  Prince (Dr.) Murtala Sakwa
