As part of efforts by the National leadership of the All Progressives Congress at retaining Ondo state under its fold in the November, 16, 2024 Governorship election, a 35 member National Observer Committee has been set up to oversee all processes towards the realization of this objectives. The committee, chaired by Chief Wale Ohu, a chieftain of the party from Oyo state is expected among other things to monitor and observe strict compliance to the rules and guidelines of the direct party primary as stipulated by the constitution of the APC and the electoral act. Ensure transparency, accountability and smooth conduct of the election across the 18 local government areas of Ondo state and also ensure the primary election committee and appeal committees operate within the terms of reference (T.O.R) of their mandate.
