Ogbomoso - Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has announced the establishment of a Faculty of Law and introduced six new degree programs in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. This development was confirmed by the acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, during the 16th convocation ceremonies held in the Great Hall. According to Prof. Kalilu, the University is undergoing rapid transformation to fulfill its mandate and the vision of the Visitor, Engr. Seyi Makinde. The new degree programs include Psychology, Mass Communication, Linguistics, Yoruba Theatre Arts, and Political Science, in addition to the newly established Faculty of Law. The acting Vice Chancellor emphasized that all seven new programs have undergone Resource Verification in March this year and are awaiting approval from the National Universities Commission (NUC). The University plans to admit students for these programs in the current academic session once clearance is received fro
