VIDEO: EFCC BARRICADES GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO'S HOUSE IN ABUJA

  Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), have barricaded the house of the immediate past governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello in Wuse, Abuja. Zynga News reports that the EFCC siege is coming days after the former governor held a meeting with President Bola Tinubu, at the State House. It was reliably gathered that there is currently no movement in and around the house located at Benghazi Street, Wuse Zone 4 in the nation's federal capital.  On Wednesday, a top source shared the photograph showing how operatives of the EFCC barricaded the access road to the Bello's house. KOGI: 18 DAYS TO GO, YAHAYA BELLO APPOINT CARETAKER CHAIRMEN

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the appointments came at the heels of the expiration of the tenure of the elected council chairmen mid December 2023. Bello’s Media Aide, Onogwu Muhammed, in a statement issued in Lokoja said the appointments were in accordance with the Re-enacted Law of the Kogi State, outlining the establishment, composition, structure, finance, and functions of the local government areas. Muhammad said: “Gov Bello has approved the appointments of distinguished persons to serve as caretaker chairmen for the 21 Local Government Areas of the state. “The governor’s action is aimed at efficiently filling the void left by the former local government chairmen who have recently completed their commendable tenure of office. These caretaker chairmen, carefully selected for their competence and dedication, are poised to steer the ship of their respective local government areas with unwavering commitment and resolve.” The list of the caretaker chairmen comprised Adavi –
