The plane that crash landed in Ibadan was alleged to have had break failure. The plane flew in from Abuja. The newspot reporter learnt from the officials at the airport that it landed safely but could not hold till it overshot the runway and skidded into nearby bush. The airport officials are refusing to release the manifest for now. However no life was lost and the aircraft was said to be in good condition but had to be delayed pending conclusion of investigation. When contacted, a spokesman for the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) Tunji Oketunmbi, confirmed the incident but said a team had been dispatched to the site for a probe. The private jet had about 10 persons onboard including Very Important Personalities (VIP'S) who were said came for a birthday celebration.
