NBA-ICLE HOLDS CIVIL LITIGATION TRAINING PROGRAMME

The Nigerian Bar Association's, Institute of Continuing Legal Education announces a 10 day training programme to begin on 3rd April, 2024. The Board Chairman, NBA-ICLE, Tobenna Erojikwe, who announced the 10-day Civil Litigation Training programme noted that it would be facilitated by an array of renowned legal practitioners and jurists from Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and Canada. The training programme, scheduled to commence on the 3rd of April, 2024, will be held on select dates throughout April and the 2nd of May, 2024, with each session running from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Facilitators lined up to take on various topics at the training sessions include, retired Justice Buba, Justice Dimgba, Chief Kanu Agabi (SAN), and Chief Akinlolu Olujimi (SAN), British/Nigerian King’s Counsel (KC) Oba Nsugbe, the Canadian/Nigerian KC Ugorji, among others. 2024 UTME: HON. ABAYOMI OLUSEGUN OYEDEJI MOBILIZE PLWD IN IB SOUTH -WEST LG TO ACCESS FREE FORM DONATED BY JAMB

  The supervisory councillor for People Living With Disability in Ibadan South-West local government, Hon. Abayomi Olusegun Oyedeji has commended the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for its initiative to provide free application forms to candidates with disabilities aiming to take the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), provided they possess five O’level credits. Oyedeji gave this commendation while revealing his plans to Zyna-News.com on effort to mobilize at least 250 members of the PLWD community in the local government to access this free registration form offer. NBTE GRANTS APPROVAL TO OYSCOHEST TO COMMENCE 5 HND PROGRAMMES

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted approval to the Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan to commence the award of degree in Higher National Diploma (HND) in five (5) of its programmes with effect from 2023/2024 Session. I travelled home in 2012 after my PhD and one of my older cousins asked when I would become a Professor.  I laughed and told him it would still take some years and I jokingly told him I was not keen on becoming a Professor.  He became angry at my response and said I should get the Professor for them even if I don't want it.  After I left him I began to wonder what is in that rank that some people want at all cost. I can still remember the huge congratulatory messages I received after my friend and colleague shared on Facebook the news of my promotion to that rank.  Sometimes I reflect on those messages and imagine how rich I would have been if those congratulatory messages could be transformed into cash.
