A newly appointed Judge of the Nasarawa High Court, Hon. Justice Tanze Benjamin Makama is dead. The Nasarawa State Judiciary was thrown in to mourning with the loss of the revered jurist who passed away on the 5th of March, 2024. Justice Makama’s death comes as a shock to the legal community, as he had only recently taken office in December 2023. According to sources close to the family, Justice Makama had been battling an undisclosed ailment prior to his passing, though the exact nature of the sickness and cause of death is yet to be disclosed.
