A Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan has ordered the remand of a woman and two other men in the Agodi Correctional service (formerly known as Agodi Prison) for their roles in the January 16, 2024, Bodija, Ibadan explosion. The trio of 47 year old Ramatu Camara, 20 year old Ganiu Malik, and Abubakar Samasa, 64, were charged with conspiracy, use of weapons of mass destruction, stockpiling of radioactive materials, and dispersal of biological weapons, which led to the explosion that rocked Ibadan, the Oyo state capital in January. After pleading not guilty when the charges were read against them, Justice E.U. Akpan ordered that they be remanded in the Agodi correctional centre, and adjourned the suit until April 11 for hearing on their bail application. Police prosecutor, Michael Ojeah, had informed the court that Camara, Malik, and Samasa were facing a five-count charge against the state. Ojeah further added that the defendants and others at large committed the crime at about 7.30 p.m
