IBADAN EXPLOSION: MOE COMMISERATE WITH VICTIMS, URGE MAKINDE TO FISH OUT CULPRITS, COMMEND HIS LEADERSHIP.

With a heavy heart,

I, Egalitarian (Dig) Com. Moyosoreoluwa Olamilekan Eldreez express my heart-felt condolences with the people of Dejo Oyelese Estate, Bodija and it's environs in Ibadan, Oyo state state capital, following the tragic blast.

In this challenging and trying time, may the community find succour, strength and love to overcome the painful and disastrous loss.

My thoughts are with the victims and we extend support for healing and rebuilding.

I use this opportunity to commend and acknowledge the leadership and responsive style of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of OYO state, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE., for his prompt response to the pains and travails of the affected residents of the unforeseen incident and the welfare attention made available to them.

Furthermore, I want to urge the state government under the leadership of His Excellency, Gov. Seyi Makinde, to ensure openness, transparency and thorough investigation of this explosion in the city of Ibadan by bringing the perpetrators tagged as illegal miners and within the ambit of the law.

An Iyaganku Chief Magistrate court has remanded in prison custody, a 59 year old ex-student of Government College Ibadan, Debo Adegbola over a three count charge bothering on indecent touching, sexual assault and breach of public peace. Barr. Abraham Bolaji Ojo the former Chief Press Secretary to late Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala between 2003 - 2011 is dead. Popularly called AB, who was born over 60 years ago is from in Ogbomoso and he passed on few minutes ago at the Baptist hospital, Ogbomoso.
