Wife of former Governor of Ondo state, Arabinrin Betty Akeredolu has paid glowing tribute to the undying love her late husband, Arakunrin Rotimi odunayo Akeredolu had for her till he breath his last. Mrs Akeredolu who is yet to come to terms with the death of her husband of 42 years did not fail to diss her detractors who she described as wife beater and declared that "Jail awaits you even if you are a Governor and you beat your wife". My good people of Ondo State, I address you today with a humble heart and a mixed feeling.  The events which have culminated in today’s address is a watershed in the annals of our experience as a people.  It is not a moment of celebration, but rather a moment of sober reflection.  A moment for us to really appreciate the collective burden of moving our State forward.  The events of the past months have indeed challenged our love for our state and indeed democracy which we all profess. FORGERY: ONDO COMMISSIONER RAISES ALARM

  Ondo state commissioner for energy and mineral resources, Razaq Obe, has raised an alarm that the signature of the ailing Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, was forged on an official documents sent to his office. Red Details of the letter: It will be recalled that series of allegations and counter allegations has been flying around for sometime over suspicion of forging Gov. Rotimi Akeredolu's signature by unknown person's in the state.

ONDO DEPUTY GOVERNOR DISMISS IMPEACHMENT RUMOUR

  Ondo state Deputy Governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa has dispelled rumours of his being served impeachment notice by the state House of Assembly. Mr Ayedatiwa in a letter personally signed by him said, he has not received any correspondence of such nature from any quarters thereby allaying fears from several quarters that the state assembly has invited him for questions on allegations of gross misconduct. Find attached a copy of the letter: It will be recalled that ever since the return of the Executive Governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu, from his overseas medical trip, the state has been embroiled in a series of political turmoil over the allegation of disloyalty levelled against his deputy who acted as Governor of the state during his medical leave.
