ONDO DEPUTY GOVERNOR DISMISS IMPEACHMENT RUMOUR

Ondo state Deputy Governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa has dispelled rumours of his being served impeachment notice by the state House of Assembly.

Mr Ayedatiwa in a letter personally signed by him said, he has not received any correspondence of such nature from any quarters thereby allaying fears from several quarters that the state assembly has invited him for questions on allegations of gross misconduct.

It will be recalled that ever since the return of the Executive Governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu, from his overseas medical trip, the state has been embroiled in a series of political turmoil over the allegation of disloyalty levelled against his deputy who acted as Governor of the state during his medical leave.

An Iyaganku Chief Magistrate court has remanded in prison custody, a 59 year old ex-student of Government College Ibadan, Debo Adegbola over a three count charge bothering on indecent touching, sexual assault and breach of public peace.
