The Executive Chairman, Ibadan South-West Local Government, Hon. Kehinde Adeyemi Akande has appealed to students to shun cultism in our secondary schools. Hon. Kehinde Akande made this appeal during the National Campaign against Cultism tagged, "Operation Campus Storm" (OPS) led by Dr.Olufemi Micheal of the University of Ibadan. A statement by Oyekunbi Adediran, Head, Information Unit, Ibadan South-west local government stated that the chairman who was represented by the secretary to the Local Government, Hon Olumide Bello said issues of banditry, kidnapping, ritual killings among other social vices did not just spring up overnight, but has been there in our schools and advanced to higher institutions of learning due to formation of cult groups to terrorize other academic environments.
