OYSCOHEST PROVOST, OYEWO CHARGES STUDENTS, COMMENDS GOVERNOR MAKINDE DURING 2023/2024 MATRICULATION

  The Provost of Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology Eleyele, Ibadan, Mrs Oluyemisi Oyewo has lauded the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for his constant and unwavering support for the College thus creating a conducive learning environment. NBTE GRANTS APPROVAL TO OYSCOHEST TO COMMENCE 5 HND PROGRAMMES

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted approval to the Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan to commence the award of degree in Higher National Diploma (HND) in five (5) of its programmes with effect from 2023/2024 Session. The approval was communicated to the Provost, Mrs Oluyemisi Oyewo via a letter signed by the Director of Monotechnics of the board, Dr Samaila Tanko on behalf of the Executive Secretary.   The approval followed the resources inspection visit carried out by the Board in November,  2023.    Provost, Oyo State College of Health Science and  Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan, Mrs Oluyemisi Oyewo expressed her utmost delight over this development, which she said will boost the status of the College and allow HND graduates from the college participate in the National Youth Service Corps scheme for the first time in the history of the 91 year old institution. NBTE ACCREDITATION TEAM VISIT OYSCOHEST

ACCESS SIX  ACADEMIC  PROGAMMES Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan (OYSCOHEST) has recorded  another academic feat, with the visit of the National Board for Technical Education's Accreditation Team for the Resource Inspection exercise of six of its  academic programmes. The six programmes are HND Dental Nursing, Dental Therapy, Health Information Management, Nutrition and Dietetics, Environmental Health Technology  and National Diploma in Paramedics Technology. Briefing the Management and Staff of the College at the end of the exercise, the NBTE Team Lead, Prince (Dr.) Murtala Aliyu Sakwa commended the Management of the College for the infrastructural development between October, 2022 during their last visit and  November this year,  advising the Management to forge ahead in sustaining the tempo. LAUTECH VISITING TEAM COMMEND OYSCOHEST ON DENTAL NURSING CURRICULUM

LAUTECH  ACADEMIC COLLABORATION  COMMITTEE TEAM AND THE FACULTY OF NURSING VISIT OYSCOHEST FOR DENTAL NURSING PROGRAMME FACILITIES' ASSESSMENT, COMMEND COLLEGE MANAGEMENT  FOR MEETING REQUIRED STANDARD. The combined team of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, (LAUTECH)  Ogbomoso's Academic Collaboration Committee and the Faculty of Nursing have commended the Management of Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan for meeting the required standard for collaboration between the College's Dental Nursing Department  and LAUTECH. OYO STATE WILL CONTINUE TO PRIORITIZE HEALTH SECTOR

The Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Professor Olanike Adeyemo has disclosed that the present administration will continue to give the State Health Care Sector a pride of place for the betterment of the people of the State. She stated this today in her office while hosting the Management Staff of the Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso. According to her, Governor Seyi Makinde has good intentions for the people of Oyo State, adding that part of the LAUTECH turn around is sole ownership of the Institution by Oyo State and the commissioning of LAUTECH satellite campus at Iseyin.
