NBTE GRANTS APPROVAL TO OYSCOHEST TO COMMENCE 5 HND PROGRAMMES

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has granted approval to the Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan to commence the award of degree in Higher National Diploma (HND) in five (5) of its programmes with effect from 2023/2024 Session.

The approval was communicated to the Provost, Mrs Oluyemisi Oyewo via a letter signed by the Director of Monotechnics of the board, Dr Samaila Tanko on behalf of the Executive Secretary.  

The approval followed the resources inspection visit carried out by the Board in November,  2023. 

 


Provost, Oyo State College of Health Science and  Technology, Eleyele, Ibadan, Mrs Oluyemisi Oyewo expressed her utmost delight over this development, which she said will boost the status of the College and allow HND graduates from the college participate in the National Youth Service Corps scheme for the first time in the history of the 91 year old institution.

She commended the Visitor to the College, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde for the financial and logistic support received for the programmes and also gave the assurance that the confidence reposed in the academic standard of the College would be sustained.

The five academic  granted approval by the National Board for Technical Education are HND, Dental Nursing, HND, Dental Therapy,  HND, Health Information Management, HND, Nutrition and Dietetics and  HND, Environmental Health Technology.

  Barr. Abraham Bolaji Ojo the former Chief Press Secretary to late Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala between 2003 - 2011 is dead. VIDEO: EFCC BARRICADES GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO'S HOUSE IN ABUJA

  Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), have barricaded the house of the immediate past governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello in Wuse, Abuja. Zynga News reports that the EFCC siege is coming days after the former governor held a meeting with President Bola Tinubu, at the State House.
