ADULTERATION: MILO KUSH, A NEW VARIANT OF DRUG ABUSE

You must be wondering what has Milo, a food beverage usually taken as tea world over has to do with substance abuse, well, stress no further.

This Special Report takes a look into the world of drug and substance abuse and findings indicate that the latest trend in the world of substance abuse among the Gen-Z nation most especially within the interior part of Ibadan the Oyo state capital is Milo Kush.

While not being unmindful of the fact that Milo has been a well known brand which has over the years carved a niche for itself in the world of beverage companies, the Gen-Z world has gone a step ahead by adulterating the company's product for their own substance abuse fantasy.

Milo Kush is a carefully prepared concoction of the usual satchet Milo powder which is sold for ninety naira, one hundred naira worth of loud marijuana, a satchet of hot drink, salt and gum.

With a combination of above, a local candy is produced, carefully resealed with Iron and is ready to use.

This unnoticed format by the Gen-Z nation in substance abuse without being noticed has been on for a while and security agencies have been tricked by the youths into believing that these satchet Milo you find in their pockets are the usual ones.

Milo Kush is brisk business as it is sold for between one thousand to one thousand five hundred naira depending on the place and time and it is produced with less than three hundred naira only.

It is cool business for the production gang and also a good return on investment for the end-users as it takes them to their desired realm as most of them end up in the gutters, momentary memory loss, aggressive sexual act, engaging in street and gang war among others.

A trending video of a group of girls between the ages of 21 - 30 years being questioned by a lady suspected to be a police officer has also surfaced online and they can be found explaining what the satchet Milo found in their possession is all about.

Watch Video:

For parents, anytime you notice an unusual attachment to satchet Milo by your wards, pay more attention and ask questions.

A packet of Milo Kush might have found its way into your home during your lifetime which might eventually turn into an everlasting nightmare if not quickly nipped in the bud, while the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency should also activate their intelligence network into this unusual world of substance abuse.
