BRODA SHAGGI, UCHE ELUMELU, RUBY AKUBUEZE, OTHERS MAKE THE 2023 NOMINEES LIST OF THE IBADAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

 The Ibadan International Film Festival is one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world, and its awards nominations list is a highly anticipated event each year. 

The festival is known for showcasing the best new films from around the world, and its winners have gone on to have successful careers in the film industry.

"We are thrilled to announce the nominees for the 2023 awards," said Babatunde Ojobaro, festival director. 

"This year's lineup is truly outstanding, and we are confident that our audience will be entertained and inspired by these films."

A Total of 3,155 Film Submissions were received across the globe for the 2023 edition of the Ibadan International Film Festival and screened to 29 Film Nominations for the 19 Award categories. 

The festival, which will take place from 21st to 23rd September, 2023, will feature a diverse lineup of films from around the world, including short documentaries, feature films and animated films.

  Barr. Abraham Bolaji Ojo the former Chief Press Secretary to late Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala between 2003 - 2011 is dead.
