OYO STATE, CCII TO PARTNER ON DEVELOPMENT


The Secretary to the Oyo State Government, Professor Olanike Adeyemo, FAS FTWAS., has charged the executive members Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) to work more for the development of Ibadan land.

She stated this while hosting the CCII Executive Council Members led by it's President General, Barrister Ajeniyi Ajewole at the SSG's Office, Secretariat, Ibadan.

The Secretary to the State Government said she is fully affiliated with Ibadan, hinting that most important people in her life are from Ibadan.

She said. "I move in Ibadan circle, I thank you for honouring me with this courtesy visit, I am part of you, we are all flourishing in Ibadan, I love the development in Ibadan land and I want to seek your continued support on behalf of the state Government in our bid to take Oyo state to greater height.

Responding, the Present General, Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Barrister Ajeniyi Ajewole commended Governor Seyi  Makinde on the appointment of Professor Olanike Adeyemo as the Secretary to the Oyo State Government.

He described Professor Adeyemo as a woman of virtue, saying that Governor Makinde has rightly put a round peg in a round hole and pledged the commitment of the the apex socio cultural body towards the growth and development of Ibadanland.
