OYSCOHEST GOVERNING COUNCIL RALLIES SUPPORT FOR OKEHO SATELLITE CAMPUS, CALLS FOR MORE STUDENTS ENROLLMENT

The  Governing Council Chairman  of Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology, Eleyele Ibadan, Dr. Aaron Ola Ogundiwin has called on people of Oke-Ogun areas of Oyo State  to support OKEHO Satellite Campus of Oyo State College of Healthy Science and Technology Eleyele Ibadan in an effort at ensuring the progress and development of the  Health Institution by Government. 

The OYCOHEST Chairman made the plea when he led other Council members and  principal Officers on an on the spot assessment visit to the permanent site of OKEHO Satellite Campus in OKEHO town of Kajola local Government area of the state 

Dr. Ogundiwin  appealed to parents to send their children to the College calling on the ten local Government Chairmen  to sponsor the enrollment of their indigenes  with the College.

He  reminded people to always see OKEHO  Campus of Oyo State College of Health Science and Technology Eleyele Ibadan as their baby that must be supported  , nurtured  and  assisted  to ensure its steady progress  .

Dr Aaron Ola Ogundiwin  commended members of Apero Omo OKEHO and Omo ibile OKEHO for their supports for Okeho  Campus Of OYSCOHEST, Eleyele Ibadan  .

He noted with delight the infrastructure  put  in place at the permanent site saying Government s effort must always be supported and complemented   by the people in the overall interest of socio economic and political progress of the area .

In their respective responses, the Chairman of Apero Omo OKEHO, Pastor Favour Adewoye Adewole and the Chairman Omo Ibile OKEHO, Alhaji Raji Salaudeen said efforts had been stepped up to mobilize the people to always send their Children to OKEHO Satellite Campus.

They both thanked Governor Seyi Makinde for giving priority attention to the development of tertiary education in the State.

In her brief remarks after the on the spot assessment visit to the permanent site of OKEHO Satellite Campus, the Provost of the College Pharmacist Mrs Oluyemisi  Oyewo applauded the effort of the Governing. Council Chairman, Dr. Aaron Ola Ogundiwin for initiating the working tour. Commending the Council members for their co-operation and ensuring that OKEHO campus does not go to extinction.


Mrs Yemisi   Oyewo equally called on parents to enroll their children as admission into OKEHO Satellite Campus is  still in progress .


OKEHO Satellite Campus was established in 2015  under Oyo  State College of Health Science and Technology Eleyele Ibadan  which was set up in 1933 to train  middle level  Health Care  Providers and workers in the Health care sector  in Nigeria  .


The Products  of the Health Institution  are  working in various health facilities home and abroad .

OYO ASSEMBLY TO CONFIRM JUSTICE TAJUDEEN ABDUL'GANIYU AS PRESIDENT, CUSTOMARY COURT OF APPEAL

Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has forwarded a letter requesting for the confirmation of appointment of Hon. Justice Tajudeen Muhammad Abdul Ganiyu as the President Customary Court of Appeal, Oyo State to the State House of Assembly. The request follows the recommendation of Hon. Justice Tajudeen Muhammad Abdul Ganiyu to the National Judicial Council as President of the Court of Appeal by the Oyo State Judicial Service Commission. According to the letter, ” Consequent upon the request, the National Judicial Council has recommended Hon. COURT FORFEIT TWO OIL BUNKERING VESSEL TO GOVERNMENT

Two Federal High Courts sitting in Abuja has ordered the forfeiture of MT Kali and MT Harbor Spirit, two bunkering vessels to the Federal Government of Nigeria. The two vessels were recently arrested by operatives of TSSNL in conjunction with the special task force set up by the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla. Delivering an interim order of forfeiture in the case filed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun, Justice J. K. Omotosho yesterday ordered that MT Harbor Spirit and its content be forfeited to the Federal Government pending when any party might show cause why the order should not be made final within six months.
