These are not the best of time for Ibadan based B2B, E-commerce commodity marketing company ALERZO, as it has shut down operations in virtually all of its warehouses across Nigeria.
The multi million dollar company, owned by 29 years old Adewale Opaleye took the Ibadan market of the Fast Moving Commodity business by storm about 3 years ago when it opened it's multi million naira FMC warehouse and employed over 3000 young Nigerians across the country.
Unfortunately, ALERZO which was then rated as one of the best paying companies in Nigeria is now unable to meet up with the standard it set for itself at inception including the financial obligation to it's members of staff.
Few hours ago ALERZO has shut down operations in Calabar, Lekki, and two other warehouses across the country.
This is apart from many others which had been closed before now.
Other subsidiaries of ALERZO like Jeetar, Veedezpro, Veedezpay have also not survived.
Few months ago, over 700 of its staff members were laid off due to financial crisis which hit the organization then and has since been struggling to stay afloat.
Further investigation revealed that another round of mass sack is already in the pipeline as warehouse supervisors have been instructed to retrieve Identify card and other operational gadgets from members of staff at the close of work today and advised them to expect official communication via their email anytime soon.
