OYO GOVT., EGO FOUNDATION ORGANIZE ONE DAY TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR MARKET WOMEN

 


The Executive Director, Enterprise Growth and Opportunities, (EGO Foundation) Mr Toluwase Olaniyan has hailed the present administration in the State for creating an enabling environment for market women.

He stated this during a one day training programme organized in collaboration with the Oyo State Government Tagged: "She Enabled" held at Oje Market, Ibadan.

Toluwase hinted that "She Enabled" training for market women is a programme designed to support women and their businesses for them to understand book keeping and financial Intelligence that will take their business to the next level.

He said 'EGO" Foundation provided deep learning for the participants about book keeping, saying that at the end of the training the participants will have knowledge about market book keeping and be able to analyse what profit they make everyday. 

He said “this programme is not one off, we are building continuous conversation with the market women, we have set up market sustainability agent that would be part of their business growth."

He opined that EGO Foundation is a development organization aimed at reducing poverty and unemployment in Africa believing in human and society with the capacity to nurture and empower.

EGO Foundation commended the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for fostering economic stability at the grassroot level through Enterprise Development innovations. 

In her remarks, Alhaja Saratu Konibaje alongside Iyaloja of Oje Market Alhaja Laaro Akala appreciated the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Olanike Adeyemo and EGO Foundation for bringing the training programme to Oje Market with free eyes test and glasses.
