VIDEO: FINALLY, FAYOSE DUMPS EKITI PDP, JOINS EKITI GOVERNOR, BIODUN OYEBANJI IN APC

From all indications, former Governor of Ekiti state, Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose has finally dumped the People's Democratic Party for the Biodun Oyebanji led ruling All Progressives  Congress (APC) in Ekiti state.

Earlier, Indications were rife that the once simmering relationship between Fayose and the PDP in the state was on the brink of collapse but there was no strong fact to back up this claim other than the romance between Fayose and members of the defunct G-5 Governors, of which Fayose was number six and the only former Governor allowed into the group then.

Also, before, during and after the election, most especially the Presidential election, Fayose and his G-5 group openly worked against the interest of the PDP and it's Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar without batting an eyelid.

Shortly after, Fayose, who had before now been a strong antagonist of anything APC paid an unexpected visit to now President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the presidential villa.

Also, at the wedding reception of the daughter of Ekiti state PDP chairman Sunday Bisi, Fayose took over the microphone and sang praises of the Ekiti state Governor, Biodun Oyebanji to the consternation of those present, being a PDP affair.

As things stand now, it seems the hen has finally come home to roost as the latest move by Fayose has finally put a seal to the demise of PDP in Ekiti state.

At an event, which is the annual get together party of the Fayose's, the the former Ekiti state Governor display open support for the government of Biodun Oyebanji and a move which also served as a strong endorsement for Oyebanji's second term.

A well displayed banner with the inscription "Oshoko Political Family" was conspicuously displayed at the venue of the event with Governor Fayose taking to the dance floor and the musician of the day on his trail, showing praises on Governor Abiodun Oyebanji and proclaiming his second term as a done deal.
