OYO HOS APPLAUD MAKINDE OVER 100 PERCENT GRATUITY FOR RETIRED HLA’s

Oyo state Head of Service, Mrs Olubunmi Oni, mni., has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for approving the payment of 100 Percent Gratuity to all retired Heads of Local Government Administration in the State.

Mrs Oni stated this while celebrating the retired Heads of Local Government Administration in the state, held at the International Conference Centre,  University of Ibadan.

According to her, "I will like to appreciate the unparalleled gesture of Governor Seyi Makinde in approving payment of 100 percent gratuity to retired Heads of Local Government Administration in the state and also for approving an upward review of salary of serving Heads of the local government administration in all the Local Government Councils and Local Council Development Areas.

The Head of Service urged civil servants across all Ministries, Departments and Agencies in the state to draw inspiration from the exemplary leadership demonstrated by the retirees and strive to emulate their dedication and passion for service, excellence, integrity and accountability in the discharge of their duties.

She said the commitment and dogged determination of the present administration to the security of life and property through prompt release of security funds to the Local Government Councils and provision of security vehicles for the security agencies in the state re-affirms the need for a renewed commitment to upholding the values of transparency, accountability and good governance, where we will all work towards building a future where every citizen of Oyo State can thrive and prosper".
