OYO HOS RED CROSS SOCIETY'S DEDICATION TO EMERGENCY CARE WORK

The Oyo State Head of Service, Mrs. Olubunmi Oni, mni, has lauded the Nigerian Red Cross Society for their dedication and exceptional service in emergency care

She revealed this during a recent courtesy visit with  the Executive Members of the Nigerian Red Cross Society  held  at the conference room of the Head of Service, Secretariat, Ibadan.

Mrs. Oni underscored the vital roles the Society plays in delivering prompt and effective care during emergencies, describing their work as indispensable to the health and well-being of the citizens 

The Head of Service, who was represented by Permanent Secretaries, Dr. Adeyanju Alaruru, and Dr. A. M. Ayoola, in their remarks reiterated the importance of partnerships and collaboration  towards ensuring the well-being of the populace, especially during emergency. 

Mrs. Oni stated that the current administration under Governor Seyi Makinde is committed to working with organizations like the Red Cross Society in providing training, re-training, and other forms of support that will alleviate the suffering of the people.

"Red Cross Society stands for humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, and unity.“

Mrs. Oni stated. "The State Government is eager to partner with philanthropic associations like the Red Cross Society to enhance emergency management efforts."

Responding, the Chairman of the Nigerian Red Cross Society Oyo State branch, Engineer Famade Babalola, expressed the organization's readiness to collaborate with the State Civil Service.

 He further highlighted the significance of joint efforts in cultivating a safer, healthier, and more resilient work environment for all civil servants within the state.
