OYO STATE GOVERNMENT SEEKS PARTNERSHIP WITH PROFESSIONAL BODIES

Secretary to the Oyo state Government, Professor Olanike Adeyemo has said the Engr. Seyi Makinde led administration in the state will was continue to collaborate with professional bodies for the development of the state.

Prof. Adeyemo stated this during a courtesy visit by the executive members of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), Oyo state chapter to her office at the government secretariat, Ibadan.

While charging the PSN to always stand for their profession whenever the opportunities arise in the state, the Secretary to the State Government admonished members of the society to come up with a comprehensive proposal that would benefit the state and their profession.

She said, Governor Seyi Makinde is always pro-people and ready to protect the interest of the state at all times hence the call for programmes and proposals from Professional Bodies like Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria to assist the government in moving the state forward.

Earlier in his address, chairman of the association, Pharmacist Segun Ajanaku commended the Oyo State Government for being among the states in Nigeria to implement the consultant cadre status to qualified and deserving pharmacists in the State.
