ONDO 2024: WALE OHU LED OBSERVER COMMITTEE APPROVES LIST OF RETURNING OFFICERS FOR GUBER PRIMARY ELECTION
Chairman, National Observers committee of the Ondo state primary election taking place across the 18 local government areas of the state, Chief Wale Ohu has stated restated the determination of the National leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at providing a level playing ground for all aspirants vying for the ticket of the party to emerge as gubernatorial candidate of the party in ondo state.
Chief Ohu gave this assurance at a strategic planning meeting of all committees involved in the conduct of the primary election coming up in Ondo state today.
According to him, one of the core mandates of the National Observers committee which is on ground to represent the national leadership of the party in monitoring and observing every step of the election, is to put in place, credible hands to handle the conduct of the primary election.
"As part of its term of reference towards the successful conduct of the primary election to nominate a suitable candidate for the forthcoming Ondo state gubernatorial election, the National Observers committee of the party has released names of returning officers for each of the 18 local government areas of the state to oversee the conduct of the primary election".
"Each local government has a team of seven members each led, by a returning officer, with their phone numbers conspicuously displayed against each name in order to ensure transparency and accountability from each of the members so nominated".
The primary election has among other aspirants, the executive Governor of Ondo state, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Chief Sola Oke, Wale Akinterinwa among others as contenders.
