The Executive chairman of Ibadan South West Local Government, Hon Kehinde Adeyemi Akande has sworn in the newly elected Councillors of Ibadan South West Local Government The Council boss while inaugurating the 12 councillors from ward 1 to 12 solicited for their co-operation and urged them not allow discrimination among them so as to have a successful administration. During the inauguration the Council Helmsman also admonished all the newly sworn in councillors to deal with each other with love, open to advice from people and let love abound.  According to him, "You are not the most knowledgeable or wiser than others, but it is by the grace of God, that you are here today." The Executive Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Ghaffar Bello has disclosed that the giant strides of Governor Makinde 5th year in office is commendable. In a statement signed by Hon. AJAYI CROWTHER VARSITY COUNCIL ASSURES JUSTICE FOR RAPE ALLEGATION VICTIM

The Governing Council of Ajayi Crowther University has assured that the institution will ensure justice for the female student of the institution who was allegedly raped by two vigilance employees of the school on Thursday. A statement signed by the university registrar and secretary of the council, Dr Jadesola Babatola, said the council also condemned the act, while commending the management for taking prompt step to address the allegation and added that the university would cooperate with the police in their investigation. The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, Dr Olutoyin Okeowo, has described Emeritus Prof Ayo Banjo, as a distinguished personality, whose towering eminence is celebrated widely across the globe. Prof Banjo, who clocks 90 today, served as the pioneer Pro-Chancellor and later, chairman of ACU Board of Trustees, succeeding Emeritus Prof Oladipo Akinkugbe. Before he became pioneer Pro-Chancellor of ACU, he served as chairman of the university implementation committee.
