The National assembly has been urged to further amend the electoral act towards making provisions for People Living with Disability in Nigeria having representation at all levels of the legislative arm of government right from the local government up to the Senate. The Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, is dead. A family source on Wednesday said Akeredolu died in Lagos. He was managed by State House doctors up to his death because they could not fly him abroad. “Akeredolu is dead; he died in Lagos,” the source said. “They were looking for dialysis machines to be sent to his secret location in Lagos last week.” He was 67 years old.  Also, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Umar Na’Abba, breathed his last in the early hours of Wednesday in Abuja, according to family sources. Born on September 27, 1958, Na’Abba, aged 65, battled a prolonged illness before succumbing to it. Na’Abba, a prominent figure in Nigerian politics, notably served as the Speaker of the House between 1999 and 2003. His health struggles had previously prompted his medical evacuation abroad for treatment, leading to an extended period away from Nigeria.  As Nigerian's celebrate the yuletide season, the Federal Road Safety Commission has devised a strategy to put a stop tonthe incessant road accident which has plaqued the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. The strategy which is out of this world and quite commendable was captured in a 4mins video recorded by a road user, who also revealed that the FRSC also had a surveillance camera deployed to capture every scene as it unfolded on the ever busy expressway.   The National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter (OyNACHPN), has felicitated and congratulated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, HE, Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde on the occasion of his 56th birthday celebration. The congratulatory was contained in a statement issued by the state Chairperson of the Association, CHP. Com.
